The White Lotus S3 E3 - The Meaning of Dreams

THE SUSPECTS & WHAT WE KNOW AFTER EPISODE 3:

1. 1. The Girls Trip: The girls have a day of yoga and energy healing. At dinner, Kate admits that her husband voted for Donald J Trump and that she herself is an independent. Later, Kate watches Jaclyn and Laurie laughing and gossiping about her marriage and political views.
      
      1. This was PAINFULLY real
   2. The Ratliffs: Victoria wakes from a dream about walking toward a tumultuous ocean as Timothy takes a call about the FBI visiting his office back home. At breakfast, Victoria shares her dream, and Piper interprets it as a warning. Later, Lochlan attends a posture correction session, where the therapist questions if he struggles with assertiveness due to his dominant family members. Piper visits a Buddhist temple, considering their summer program.
      
      1. Timothy convinces his family to surrender their phones and computers
      2. Victoria, noticing Timothy's stress, gives him lorazepam, causing him to nap throughout the day. Timothy later steals more lorazepam to sleep at night.
      3. Piper not there for thesis?
      4. Lots of tsunami imagery
   3. The Staff: Gaitok deals with humiliation from Jim's guards, who imply he’s incompetent and tell him that the resort manager Fabian wants him fired, but Sritala has been protecting him. Belinda approaches Greg’s table at dinner saying that she recognizes him from The White Lotus resort in Maui. She questions his identity, mentioning his relationship with Tanya, which he denies.’
      
      1. Confirmed: not pre season 1
      2. Pornchai & Belinda continue to flirt
      3. What did Belinda hear in her room…?
   4. The Outlaws: Rick approaches Sritala at the restaurant, posing as a producer and offering her a project, which Chelsea finds suspicious. Later that day, Rick goes out to buy weed. He and Chelsea come across a Snake Show and, under the influence, Rick impulsively frees snakes from their terrariums. Chelsea is bitten and rushed to the hospital.
      
      1. Rick’s second meditation session
      2. Rick is trying to find some kind of freedom / peace from his internal anguish
      3. Rick planning revenge on Sritala’s husband Jim?
      4. Something stirring between Chloe and Saxon. Chloe might be trying to scam the Ratliffs?? (and also bone Saxon)
      5. The Ratliffs and Chelsea are going on Greg’s boat the next day
